Enslaved to Mormonism: Hiding Guilty Evidence of Occult Behavior

2 Corinthians 6:17 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”
Disposing of Garments and Temple Clothing
To dispose of worn-out temple garments, members should cut out and destroy the marks.
Members then cut up the remaining fabric so it cannot be identified as a garment. Once the marks are removed, the fabric is not considered sacred. To dispose of worn-out temple clothing, members should burn it or alter it so the original use cannot be recognized.
Members may give garments and temple clothing that are in good condition to other worthy endowed members. The bishop can help identify those who might need such clothing.
Under no circumstances should members give garments or temple clothing to Deseret Industries, bishops’ storehouses, or charities.”
Mormonism and Beehives

Yesterday we read how LDS apostle Ballard encouraged the young girls of Mormonism to do good deeds for others. That in itself isn’t a bad thing, but using an occult fertility symbol isn’t the mark of true Christianity.
I wrote about this a few years back so we’re reposting it today as a reminder of how the Church falls way short on the scale of godly behavior. If they truly wanted these precious young girls to be godly, they’d dump the beehive theme, and pick up the cross of Christianity. As it is, they’re leading these kids down a dark road that doesn’t represent our Lord at all.
Encouraging Mormon Youth with Tools of the Occult

Ensign, ‘Be Anxiously Engaged,’ October 2012; “…In your morning prayer each new day, ask Heavenly Father to guide you to recognize an opportunity to serve one of His precious children. Then go throughout the day with your heart full of faith and love, looking for someone to help. Stay focused, just like the honeybees focus on the flowers from which to gather nectar and pollen. If you do this, your spiritual sensitivities will be enlarged and you will discover opportunities to serve that you never before realized were possible.
I know that if you do this—at home, at school, at work, and at church—the Spirit will guide you, and you will be able to discern those in need of a particular service that only you may be able to give. You will be prompted by the Spirit and magnificently motivated to help pollinate the world with the pure love of Christ and His gospel.” – M. Russell Ballard
Witchcraft, Blessings, and LDS Youth

Micah 3:7; “Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.”
New Era, ‘Your Own Liahona,’ June 2017 by Richard Romney
The sheer amount of false doctrines/teachings in the June edition of the New Era (LDS youth magazine), was one for the record books.
They wasted no time in plunging head first into their theme for the month which was the idolatrous practice of astrology, and witchcraft.
Before his explanation of why it’s important to receive a patriarchal blessing, Mr. Romney asked the following question which is what alerted me to this article causing me to investigate this further.
“Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a spiritual GPS to guide you? With your patriarchal blessing, you can.”
Nephi’s Faith was in Magic Ball, not God

1 Nephi 16:28-29; “And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld the pointers which were in the ball, that they did work according to the faith and diligence and heed which we did give unto them. 29 And there was also written upon them a new writing, which was plain to be read, which did give us understanding concerning the ways of the Lord; and it was written and changed from time to time, according to the faith and diligence which we gave unto it. And thus we see that by small means the Lord can bring about great things.”

Thousands of Youth Sing, Dance at Payson Temple Cultural Celebration
Throwing caution to the wind in June 2015, the Mormon Church celebrated the grand opening of another temple in Utah; Payson, Utah to be exact.
It reminded us of the ceremonies they held for the Philadelphia Temple opening. Oh, be still my heart…
As part of this over-the-top, all out party for their god, the Church used their kids to put on one of the grandest road shows we’ve seen in quite some time. It’s highly doubtful the majority realized what they were doing, but make no mistake beloved, it was a blatant display of paganism at its finest.
Satanic LDS Jewelry and Coins

A few years ago we wrote about the products available at the online Deseret bookstore that actually surprised even us. It’s been three years since that posting and thought we’d take a quick glance at it again. We discovered it got even worse.
We’re concerned and saddened by their lack of spiritual discernment in calling themselves Christians while peddling the demonic items all for the sake of a few bucks.
This time we found coins with questionable imprints, rings with the potential to spiritually imprison those who are less mature in the Lord, and other jewelry that is just outright, blatantly demonic. You can find their product lines @ CTRRingSales.com and DeseretBook.com
We pray when a Christian sees the trinkets, they’ll know straightaway of the dangers these hold, and warn their Mormon friends. They may seem benign, but this shouldn’t cause a believer to blindly accept what they see on the outside. The following items are a synopsis of what we found –
Leading LDS Children into the Occult

An article in the December 2015 edition of Liahona caught my immediate attention with the activity they inserted into their lesson for the month. See image on left.
It’s one thing to lead millions of people away from the Lord into what is essentially an eternity in hell, but it’s quite another when you employ the same tactics on little kids. As you can see in our example today, this is exactly what the Church has done.
We’ve highlighted other editions of the Liahona in the past, and have asked why they use godless items/images in their lessons while encouraging kids to be upstanding members of society. We’re wondering why they don’t employ the same standards for themselves…
This month’s lesson features a labyrinth to use as an example of following in the footsteps of Jesus.

September 19 – Matthew 17:1-5; “And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”

My good friend and mentor, Ed Decker, wrote a very insightful article earlier this month that I thought was so vital I’m posting it here with his permission. I’ve often thought about the latest actions of the Church and wondered how long it’ll be before the empty halls of those temples echo. Ed’s article concurs with my thoughts. Interesting!

BoM “Translated” through Witchcraft
Ensign, July 1993, “A Treasured Testament,” pg 61; “The details of this miraculous method of translation are still not fully known. Yet we do have a few precious insights. David Whitmer wrote: “Joseph Smith would put the seer stone into a hat, and put his face in the hat, drawing it closely around his face to exclude the light; and in the darkness the spiritual light would shine. A piece of something resembling parchment would appear, and on that appeared the writing. One character at a time would appear, and under it was the interpretation in English. Brother Joseph would read off the English to Oliver Cowdery, who was his principal scribe, and when it was written down and repeated to Brother Joseph to see if it was correct, then it would disappear, and another character with the interpretation would appear. Thus the Book of Mormon was translated by the gift and power of God, and not by any power of man.” (David Whitmer, An Address to All Believers in Christ, Richmond, Mo.: n.p., 1887, p. 12.)” – Russell M. Nelson

Treasure-Seeking Ways of Joseph
The following is an excerpt from an interview of Joseph Smith’s father by local journalists. The book A New Witness for Christ in America was written by Francis Kirkham in defense of the Church. Mr. Kirkham was tutored by James Talmage, attended BYU, graduated from Univ. Michigan, went to law school at the Univ. of Utah and even taught at BYU for two years, served 3 yr mission for the Church and wrote a grammar book for missionaries to help them learn Maori.
While living in New York and performing in-depth studies of the Book of Mormon Mr. Kirkham had the opportunity to compile dozens of interviews and articles of Joseph Smith’s family members and contemporaries from New York and Ohio newspapers. The compilation of those papers resulted in Kirkham’s book series A New Witness for Christ in America.

Netherworld
Today’s look at Joseph Smith’s translation makes me wonder if he wasn’t ready to tell his followers that his god was the god of the underworld.
Pray the Mormon will see these things and question what this means for him/her. Why would the Holy God of the Bible want you to be involved with a god of the underworld? How does this glorify Him?

Spiritual Discernment
What is it and from where does it come? When people write in asking how they can “get” spiritual discernment my answer is always the same; open your bible and start reading.
For those who say they don’t have spiritual discernment I have a question for you! Do you have His Holy Spirit residing inside you? Does He not guide you throughout your day? If so, how does He do this? Name the things He’s shown you in one day and give scriptural proof to back your claim.

JOSEPH’S MAGIC HAT*
Joseph Smith’s claim of receiving gold plates from a holy angel, has attracted millions of converts to the Mormon Church, a church which now boasts a membership of nearly thirteen million, and continues to add about a million new members every three years or less.(1)
