Isaiah 29:15-16; “Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? 16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?”
Today we’re checking out a speech given by LDS apostle Russell M. Nelson in 2013. I came across this talk while gathering info for a different project, and I just couldn’t let this pass on by. The format today is going to be a bit different, so hang with me and it’ll all make sense!
Mr. Nelson’s speech contained 22 lies. Ugh. I honestly don’t recall ever seeing this many lies in one talk, which makes it even more frustrating! So what I’ve done is to pull a few of them, listed them below, and at the end of the article you’ll find all 22 of them in order. To read his speech in full, the link is provided in the title of his speech.
We have a lot of questions today, but the main one is this: Does Mormonism fulfill biblical prophecy?
One more thing – it seems whenever we, or rather I, don’t know what to make of the false teachings in Mormonism, the sweet Lord always does. The passage in Isaiah is rather appropriate today!
