Our Search for Happiness—An Invitation to Understand the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, p. 14 “…our belief in Christ is not passive. We believe that He and our Heavenly Father continue to minister to mankind today through inspiration and revelation. As we do His will we feel His spirit, a peaceful, comforting presence that warms our souls with courage and faith and draws us ever closer to Him. And as we draw closer to Him, we learn to love Him and our Eternal Father, and we find ourselves showing our love for them by keeping their commandments—which helps us to become more like them.
