Notice today the vast difference of who God says we are and who Smith thinks we are. After getting saved it took me awhile to fully realize the extent of all the lies I was taught and believed as a Mormon.
Share your favorite verse about God’s feelings towards His creation with the Mormon in your life today. It seems the longer someone is a Mormon, the more immune they become to the truth of God’s word so keep reminding them of the truth. Mormons will use the biblical verse above to “prove:” the doctrine of the pre-existence.
I’ve had many a Mormon missionary tell me that this is God reminding us we were there with Him, learning to become gods like Himself.
