The Church and the Negro, pg 109; “Those who would try to pressure the Prophet to give the Negroes the Priesthood do not understand the plan of God nor the order of heaven. Revelation is the expressed will of God to man. Revelation is not man’s will expressed to God. All the social, political, and governmental pressure in the world is not going to change what God has decreed to be.” – John L. Lund
Acts 13:1; “Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.”
This man’s teaching is obviously the horrible result of a false prophecy.
Interestingly when you study the history of the original Christian church you’ll find that the Lord gathered people from all over the world!
Our example in Acts of the Apostles is a small sliver of what God was doing back then so we’re taking a look at who the Lord put into place to serve Him and today our focus is on Simeon.
Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible tells us this man was from Niger. The transliteration for the word Niger in the Hebrew is of course Niger. This word is from the Latin and it means black and so this portion of scripture means Simeon who was black (Niger) was amongst the Christian prophets and teachers.
So if God who is all righteous, all knowing and always right has allowed someone who is black to be a participant amongst the other Christians then who is man to say that black people can’t or shouldn’t be in the church?
We see countless other scriptures verifying the same thing when it says God is no respecter of people or when God said there is neither Jew nor Greek, et al. Shunning someone based on color is racist and proof you’re not from the body of Christ.
the lds church is the biggest farce and fraud ever invented..they want to control your life and take your money..as far as helping anybody its only the leaders..they got our money
