Ensign, ‘The Caravan Moves On,’ October 1984 “There is no salvation in a system of religion that rejects the doctrine of the Fall or that assumes man is the end product of evolution and so was not subject to a fall. True believers know that this earth and man and all forms of life were created in an Edenic, or paradisiacal, state in which there was no mortality, no procreation, no death.” — Bruce R. McConkie
1 John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
Let’s look at facts.
1.McConkie must have forgotten what his father-in-law, Joseph Fielding Smith, said two years prior about Adam not sinning. There’s simply no way to rationalize anything in either statement. See Adam did NOT Sin in Garden of Eden for more info.
2.If there’s no salvation in a religion that denies the fall of man, no one in Mormonism can be saved.
3.McConkie lied when he said all forms of life were created in an ‘Edenic’ state. Whatever happened to the Mormon belief in a pre-existence where everyone was supposedly created?
4.What about Moroni 8:8 stating kids can’t sin?
Moroni 8:8 “Listen to the words of Christ, your Redeemer, your Lord and your God. Behold, I came into the world not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance; the whole need no physician, but they that are sick; wherefore, little children are whole, for they are not capable of committing sin; wherefore the curse of Adam is taken from them in me, that it hath no power over them; and the law of circumcision is done away in me.”
5.Lastly, we see another LDS Apostle who declared original sin was done away with!
Introduction to the Gospel, p. 312 “Joseph Smith became a prophet and spokesman for God, a living witness of the principle of continuous revelation which characterized God’s relationship to man…In the restoration, man was raised to the dignity which he had formerly known both in the Hebrew and Christian scripture. Original sin and human depravity were done away with and in their place came again Jesus’ high regard for the dignity of man, the worth of every individual as a child of God, and great emphasis on man’s freedom and accompanying moral responsibility…in the Latter-day Saint teaching of salvation which reveals a fine balance between the grace of Deity and man’s individual merit.” – Lowell Bennion
This is a classic example of how this organization contradicts itself in order to confuse people. Shame on all of them!
Pray for members to stop, study the false doctrines, and turn to the Lord for salvation!

Mormonism is plagued with confusion. I remember when I first joined the church. After sacrament meeting, we would have (2nd hour) Sunday School and then Elders, High Priest quorum and Relief Society. during the 3rd hour. I was amazed at how many discussions and lessons were so full of material (subject matter) that people didn’t understand. I couldn’t count the number of times there would be debates over some doctrine. I remember one time, the Bishop was called out of his office to settle a debate. Even the Bishop wasn’t 100% sure of what the correct answer was
.
The Mormon waters are so muddled with confusion and contradictions, however, the Mormons totally ignore this. They should turn to their Bibles and read 1 Corinthians 14:33; “God is not the author of CONFUSION, but of peace in all things of the saints,”
