December 11 – Israel Never Completely Destroyed. Leviticus 26:44 “And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the Lord their God.”

This is one of the coolest prophecies in all of the Bible! As long as there is a Jewish person on the face of the earth, they are proof that God keeps His promises! My own neighbor Koni, a Holocaust survivor, is proof of what God promised!
Today we’re looking at a few different things. First of all, this is obviously a fulfilled promise each and every day.
Secondly, here are a few facts on Leviticus: This entire book takes place at the foot of Mount Sinai where Moses came down from the mountain with the tablets. They didn’t travel anywhere during the one month it took to relay God’s instructions to the Levite priests.
They were given instructions on how to live their lives, consisting of what is and isn’t sin, and how to administer sacrifices.
At the end of the Israelites’ exodus in 1445 BC, they spent one year constructing the tabernacle, and immediately thereafter, Leviticus took place.
We know this because they were still there one month later when the record of Numbers began (Num. 1:1) which means Leviticus was probably revealed to the Israelites in the first month (Abib/Nisan) of the second year after the Exodus. The book of Numbers begins after that in the second month (Ziv; cf. Num. 1:1).
Now with our history lesson behind us, there’s a couple of things you can share with the Mormon about the events in today’s witnessing tip!
1.The Israelites were never completely destroyed. You’ll want to ask the Mormon why just the opposite was true for the ‘Israelites’ who fled to America c. 586 BC.
2.Why isn’t the Church following the extensive list of priestly duties given in Leviticus if they believe they hold the Levitical Priesthood, and still have to work for salvation?

Moroni 10:34 “And now I bid unto all, farewell. I soon go to rest in the paradise of God, until my spirit and body shall again reunite, and I am brought forth triumphant through the air, to meet you before the pleasing bar of the great Jehovah, the Eternal Judge of both quick and dead. Amen.”
“I will make you a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those that bless you and whoever curses you, I will curse.” (Genesis 12: 2,3)
