June 23 — Church News, October 9, 1976 “Spencer W. Kimball stated: “We warn you against the dissemination of doctrines which are not according to the scriptures and which are alleged to have been taught by some of the General Authorities of past generations. Such, for instance, is the Adam-God theory. We denounce that theory and hope that everyone will be cautioned against this and other kinds of false doctrine”.”
Matthew 7:15-17 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.”
If you went to a car dealership and they warned you not to buy any of their vehicles made before the current year, would you buy what they were offering you?
What would you do?
Jesus gives us a fail proof system of checks and balances. As Jesus said, ‘a corrupt tree brings forth evil’. Matthew 7:17-23.
If so-called inspired and prophetic words from a new god are considered corrupt what are the chances their newfangled teachings are legit?
Be sure to let the Mormon you know that you’re praying for them! Also ask what they think of the Church denouncing Brigham Young.
You can find more info on the history of this saga here.

[…] LDS Church Denounces Brigham Young – Spencer Kimball […]
So their so called prophet, Bringham Young was teaching false doctrine 🤣😂. That’s ridiculous. Wake up people 🙏🙏🙏🙏Maybe your so called Prophet Joseph Smith did too.🤣
And many other prophets are teaching false doctrines because they aren’t prophets of God.
These are the things I wish they’d see. Connecting the dots isn’t all that difficult, albeit painful and liberating at the same time!!
