May 23 — Becoming a god. During the Priesthood session of the October 1975 General Conference President Spencer W. Kimball spoke to the men and young men of the Church. He told them –
“Brethren, 225,000 of you are here tonight. I suppose 225,000 of you may become gods. There seems to be plenty of space out there in the universe. And the Lord has proved that he knows how to do it. I think he could make, or probably have us help make, worlds for all of us, for every one of us 225,000.”
Now explain to me why it was forbidden for the members of the church to watch The God Makers.
When Ralph and I were called to be Stake Missionaries, Ralph worried about fulfilling the calling. He was told by one of our friends who also was a Stake Missionary not to worry because one day we’ll be organizing our own world.
This is referred to as a “deeper doctrine’ in the Mormon Church. It’s not something you learn about when you’re investigating the Church or even after you’re baptized. It might not be something you learn about until you have been a member for many months.
In Isaiah 44:6-8 we read-
“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.
And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, Since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, Let them show these to them.
Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.’”
I can’t tell you the relief I felt to learn the doctrine of becoming a goddess wife and having multiple spirit children wasn’t true.
I pray for Mormons to know they don’t have to work so hard to earn their exhalation to become a god and put their trust in Jesus Christ alone.
In Christ,
Melissa Grimes

Self- exhalation is unbiblical, and blasphemous. It’s a lie from Satan.
ALL glory to God
