‘Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.’ 2 Timothy 3:7
May 24 — LDS Come 1st in Baptisms for the Dead. Three Degrees of Glory; Discourse, Ogden Tabernacle, Sept. 22, 1922, p. 28 “Of the thousands of children born today, a certain proportion of them went to the Hottentots of the south seas, thousands went to the Chinese mothers, thousands to Negro mothers, thousands to beautiful white Latter-day Saint mothers.
Let us not imagine that in this dispensation we shall do the work for the dead Chinese or Hindus. Not at all. I expect it will take one thousand years to complete in our temples the ordinances looking to the salvation of the House of Israel. It will take all Latter-day Saints and all that we can do to take care of our own branch — of our own house…” — Melvin J. Ballard

1 Corinthians 15:29 “Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?”

Beautiful white mothers and baptizing dead people. The racist not to mention ungodly ideologies of this organization is quite remarkable.
If it would take a thousand years to complete all the ordinances in their temples what hope is there for Mormons to save their own dead relatives? Not that we advocate necromancy mind you but the options for them are bleak at best. Their coveted piece of paper takes their focus from where it should be and that’s Christ Jesus and Him crucified.
I can’t help but think of what Jesus said to His disciples —
Matthew 16:26 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Is having a temple recommend really worth your salvation?
As we’ve stated before the average Mormon may not have heard of Mr. Ballard’s comment, but their leaders have, and their mindset is carried on to those in the Church today.
Pray for Mormons to rely on the Lord and turn from practicing necromancy that have no value for their salvation!
With Love in Christ –

1 Corinthians 15: 29, Paul is pointing out the inconsistency of believing in the resurrection, while practicing baptism by proxy. You can’t have both.
It’s sad isn’t it?
