Clearly, Joseph Smith was showing signs of delusion by condoning this type of behavior amongst his followers. Furthermore, if they believed Joseph Smith was to reign over the house of Israel forever then why pray tell are they calling themselves Christians?
Would this mean they referred to Joseph Smith as Our Lord of Righteousness as Jeremiah said the King’s name would be?
We’re also wondering….
How well would that be accepted by Mormons today?
With the way they refer to Smith nowadays calling him a king of Israel isn’t all that far off.

Ahh, but one of King Charles’ many titles is “King of Jerusalem.” So many, so many want Israel’s blessings! But, none want the curses! ☺️
