Bernard Brockbank (1909 – 2000) served in several capacities in the Church, namely that of Missions President in the British Isles in the early 1960’s. In the ‘70’s he served as one of the seven assistants to the twelve to live outside the U.S. He was also in charge of the Mormon Pavilion at the New York’s World Fair from 1964-1965 at which time the Church saw a huge increase of members because of his work.
Today we’re looking at an article he wrote 40 years ago. There’s one main purpose in looking at this –
It shows how the Church has used God’s word to deceive. They use the Bible, which they’ve condemned, to lure people in, and present themselves as God’s true messengers.
People like my mother have been tricked by their conniving ways for almost two hundred years now. The very first thing he said should serve as a warning to everyone who concerns themselves with the cause of Christ. They’re singing the same tune even now in the 21st Century… (more…)

A Different Jesus
Ensign, “The Living Christ”, May 1977, pg 26; “It is true that many of the Christian churches worship a different Jesus Christ than is worshipped by the Mormons or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints… We also believe that the trinity of the Godhead is made up of three separate personages—God, the Eternal Father; Jesus Christ, the Son of God—our Savior; and the Holy Ghost.
