The Visiting Teaching Message for January 2017 focused on the purpose of the Relief Society while using three biblical passages.
Linda K. Burton, Relief Society General President, told members their purpose was to “prepare women for the blessings of eternal life”. That sounds interesting, however, nothing in the lesson explained what those blessings in the eternal bliss would entail.
