Book of Mormon Timeline

Today’s dilemma is filled with many subject matters for the Mormon and non-Mormon alike to explore in the Book of Mormon.

While perusing the latest edition of the monthly LDS magazine, Ensign, I came upon a section called “Book of Mormon Timeline”.  Since this kind of fits in with the false prophecy we talked about yesterday we thought it’d be a good thing to look at!  Here is the link for the Ensign article;

Israel in 600 BC – the Bible vs. the Book of Mormon

Today’s scenario of false prophecies is the kind that jumps right out at you and confirms there’s something fishy in Denmark, or in this case, Israel.

For 400 years Israel was in disobedience towards God and for a long time God had warned the Israelites there would be a price to pay for their willful disregard of His commandments.

The United Order

United Order should be everlasting

D&C 104:1; “Revelation to Joseph Smith, April 23, 1834. History of the Church 2:54-60. Verily I say unto you, my friends, I give unto you counsel, and a commandment, concerning all the properties which belong to the order which I commanded to be organized and established, to be a united order, and an everlasting order for the benefit of my church, and for the salvation of men until I come.”
