Romans 10:4, 9-10 “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Questions for today –
How are members supposed to keep their covenants when they can’t attend church services during the COVID pandemic?
If you’re LDS do you realize you can call on Jesus before you attempt to be righteous?
Romans 5:8 tells us that God proved His love for us while we were still sinners. If God loved us before our attempt at righteousness, why would He demand works? Isaiah 64:6 says our works are as filthy rags which in essence means they’re of no use.
Oh beloved, His word also tells us that Christ is the end of the Law for those who believe. You can’t be a believer in Him while performing duties. As I’ve said before, you can’t walk to work while driving your car. It’s either one or the other, but it can’t be both.
If the Church doors are closed where do you go for help?
We pray you’ll turn to Him! You can find these answers in His word, not inside a building. Your righteousness is dependent upon only one thing.
Confessing Jesus is God, and you want Him to be your Redeemer because He spilt His blood for you. If you have to work for a redeemer to be in your life, why believe?

This covid-19 ‘thing’ must have been a mess for the church (LDS). Christian churches throughout the world have been ‘meeting’ online since the beginning because they have preachers who preach The Word. When the bishop is only a figurehead who doesn’t teach the word but, instead, sits in his office waiting for people to come in and confess their tithing status to keep blessings flowing, the entire purpose of the church is broken and worthless.
AMEN! Sandra… Christian Churches have been “Live Streaming” for a while now, even before Covid-19. And even before Live Streaming, most church’s were taping their services and posting them on their website. So it’s NOT about a “church” it’s All about Jesus, and NOT about a church or a religion. The Christian community has endured through Covid-19, and I gotta say it’s amazing.
Case in point is my church who started live-streaming 6 mos. before the shut downs. Our church is less than 2 miles from the origin of the outbreak at the nursing home in Kirkland, WA.
It was heartbreaking to see how many were affected by this, but the one thing our pastor has said from the beginning is how awesome it is knowing Jesus is with us corporately through the live broadcasts, and individually on a personal basis regardless of where we worship.
This is the type of thing that’s amazed me about Christianity, and how the Lord works. Never in a million yrs as a Mormon would I have thought this is how true Christianity works! PTL for His HS, and love for us!!!
