Word study time! The Hebrew transliteration for Ham is hot, warm or tropical; Shem means dusky, and Japheth means fair. Also study the names of the great leaders of the Bible and the tribes from which they came.
If God designed and made them, why would He discriminate against them? Moses married Zipporah who was a Cushite. Beyond all that in the New Testament era, the Bible says we are all made from one blood, Acts 17:26.
Keep this in mind when reading the quote from the Mormon’s beliefs.
This is one of the main reasons I left Mormonism. I couldn’t understand why God would hate my “dusky” skin and black hair if He created me.
The Bible says that after He made creation, He looked upon all of it and pronounced it very good.
Genesis 1:31 “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

Well they definitely need help that’s for sure. I grew up believing I was inferior because I’m not ‘white and delightsome’.
When they accepted blacks into the church in 1988 my first thought was what did I do for this god to suddenly accept me overnight. It’s sad for all involved. PTL that He opened my eyes!
The LDS have always had racist teachings. Suddenly in the early 1970s (if I remember correctly) something to do with football and black were no longer the outlier humans.
Yeah the church was being threatened w/ a lawsuit for not allowing blacks to play in a college game. Suddenly they had a revelation….
