I Am a Child of God
The words from this Mormon children’s song still rings in my ears at times; some 40 years later no less. My kids have never heard it and I look at it as one of those things in life that obviously won’t be passed on down to the next generation.
I have a long list of things that won’t be passed down just as all ex-Mormons do. Songs, clothing choices, dietary laws, genealogy work, books, et al; all the traditions I deemed important at one time in my life are now as rubbish as the Apostle Paul so eloquently said almost 2,000 years ago.
