No. This idea is not taught in Latter-day Saint scripture, nor is it a doctrine of the Church. This misunderstanding stems from speculative comments unreflective of scriptural doctrine. Latter-day Saints believe that we are all sons and daughters of God and that all of us have the potential to grow during and after this life to become like our Heavenly Father (see Romans 8:16-17).  December 2 — First Presidency Christmas Message

We rejoice in remembering our Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born in humble circumstances. Heavenly angels heralded His birth. He preached the gospel of repentance, hope, and everlasting life.

He opened the eyes of the blind, made the deaf to hear, healed all manner of afflictions, and raised the dead. He is the Only Begotten of our Father in Heaven, the Firstborn of God’s spirit children. Through His sacrifice and infinite Atonement, we can be reconciled with God by obedience and repentance. (more…)

LDS Newsroom General Conference, Sunday Afternoon Session, April 2021 “Telling listeners that they have been “blessed abundantly” to learn about eternal principles from the Lord’s authorized servants, Elder Bednar invited Latter-day Saints to “learn, live and love principles of righteousness.”

“Only gospel truths can enable us to ‘cheerfully do all things that lie in our power’ to press forward on the covenant path and to ‘see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed,’” Elder Bednar said.”

Salt Lake Tribune “In a Thursday announcement, church leaders confirmed that children of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender parents may be blessed as babies — a tradition within the faith — and baptized without the need for approval from the faith’s governing First Presidency.

Couples in a same-gender marriage would also cease to be subject to automatic disciplinary action. “While we still consider such a marriage to be a serious transgression,” a church news release states, “it will not be treated as apostasy for purposes of church discipline. Instead, the immoral conduct in heterosexual or homosexual relationships will be treated in the same way…Sen. Derek Kitchen, D-Salt Lake City, the only openly gay member of the Utah Legislature, said…“The world is changing,” Kitchen said, “and the church is changing alongside it.”” (more…)
