August 29 – Psalms 22:26-27 “The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever. All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.”

There are a few things to take notice of in the second part of this Mormon hymn below.
1. You don’t qualify as a martyr when you shoot, and kill someone while trying to escape from jail.
2. Smith’s priesthood is not endless. Only Jesus’ priesthood is endless.
3. The kingdom of heaven belongs to Jesus, not Smith. How does earth atone for someone’s blood?
4. Why would earth celebrate someone who was known to lie, cheat, and steal through the means of glass-looking and treasure hunting?
5. Why would the earth need to atone for Smith’s death?
6. Why are they lauding the glory, and fame of a mere man, and not the One and Only Redeemer, Christ Jesus?

“Praise to his mem’ry he died as a martyr; Honored and blest be his ever great name!
Long shall his blood, which was shed by assassins, Plead unto heav’n while the earth lauds his fame.
Great is his glory and endless his priesthood. Ever and ever the keys he will hold.
Faithful and true, he will enter his kingdom, Crowned in the midst of the prophets of old.
Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven; Earth must atone for the blood of that man.
Wake up the world for the conflict of justice. Millions shall know “Brother Joseph” again.” Hymns of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, no. 27.
The God of this world has blinded those that do not accept Gods Word (see John 1:1,14). God has allowed the Devil to place a veil over the eyes of the non believers. This blindness is what allows the devil to hold Mormons captive. “If our gospel be hidden, it is hidden to those that are lost. In whom the god of this World hath BLINDED THE MINDS OF THEM THAT BELIEVE NOT, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ be revealed unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:3,4): “He hath blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, and be converted, and I should heal them.” (John 12:40)
Their songs to Joseph certainly make them seem to be worshiping him.
