‘Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.’ Ephesians 5:6
August 26 — Mormon Salvation by Grace is a Lie. Ensign, ‘What Think Ye of Christ?’, November 1988, p. 65 “Man unquestionably has impressive powers… But after all our obedience and good works, we cannot be saved from the effects of our sins without the grace extended by the atonement of Jesus Christ… Man cannot earn his own salvation.” — Dallin H. Oaks

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Oh, my heart is so sad by the comment this man made. The dogma of the Church doesn’t support his rhetoric and to insinuate otherwise is disingenuous. In Mormonism you have to work for your salvation.
If you don’t go to the temple for endowments, if you’re not Mormon, if you aren’t active in the Church…all those things and more indicate there is no true salvation for you.
When you have an opportunity, please tell a Mormon how they can ask Jesus into their heart and accept His gift of salvation – you’ll both be blessed by doing so!
With Love in Christ —
