September 14 — This photo came up in one of the Christian Facebook groups I follow today. Many thoughts came to my mind when I saw it, thoughts that I don’t want to share in this article. Now that I’ve had some time to think about it, one thing that comes to my mind is the song some of us learned from Sesame Street, “One of these things is not like the other”. (more…)

Missionaries on Facebook!?

John 8:32; “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
‘Well, if that don’t beat all’, was my first thought when I read the headlines on KUTV.com.
It’s not often news coming out of Salt Lake gives me pause. This time around I was rather surprised at what they’re allowing missionaries to do, albeit, they’re still very controlling.
I can’t help but wonder if the Church has knowingly put a nail in their own coffin.
Which Book Are You Looking To?

What book, you might be wondering? Tell me, if you just saw this phrase –
“As you look to the book, you look to the Lord.”
What book comes to mind? Sadly, it’s not the book most us are thinking of. It’s heartbreaking to see the way this book is glorified in the Mormon culture, while the Bible is tossed aside. Only to be pulled out, and dusted off when they need to find a verse to twist to say it supports the false doctrines of their church.

General Conference, “The Power of the Book of Mormon,” April 2017; “My dear associates in the work of the Lord, I implore each of us to prayerfully study and ponder the Book of Mormon each day. As we do so, we will be in a position to hear the voice of the Spirit, to resist temptation, to overcome doubt and fear, and to receive heaven’s help in our lives.” – Thomas Monson

“It’s just so refreshing to see that Life After Ministries’ main purpose is to bash another religion. How Christian of you. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. If the tables were turned, you would be so offended, but you are obviously not too worried about causing offense and harm to a targeted religion. It’s at least good to know that that targeted religion isn’t treating you that way. Very classy of you, Life After Ministries, very classy.” – Anita
The comment above was in response to an article (Testifying of Joe Smith) that we posted on Facebook this past weekend. The reason we’re reposting this Mormon’s reaction on our sites is to ask our Christian prayer warriors to hit their knees!

Facebook and Anti-Mormons
On Wednesday I was notified by a fellow Christian about a new Facebook page listing Christian ministries that are considered “anti-Mormons” to members of the LDS Church.
The purpose of the FB page serves as a warning for fellow members of Mormonism that visiting other FB pages or websites of these supposed “anti-Mormons” could be detrimental to their spiritual walk.
Isn’t it odd that just this week I asked the question if Christians are anti-Mormon would that mean Mormons are anti-Christian?
