Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith, (2011), Chapter 27: ‘Beware the Bitter Fruits of Apostasy,’ pp. 315–26;
“There is a superior intelligence bestowed upon such as obey the Gospel with full purpose of heart, which, if sinned against, the apostate is left naked and destitute of the Spirit of God, and he is, in truth, nigh unto cursing, and his end is to be burned. When once that light which was in them is taken from them they become as much darkened as they were previously enlightened, and then, no marvel, if all their power should be enlisted against the truth, and they, Judas-like, seek the destruction of those who were their greatest benefactors.”

Here at the ministry the Lord has blessed me with the best job I could’ve ever dreamt of having.
We/I get to minister to people leaving Mormonism by introducing them to a local church in their area in addition to leading Bible studies and providing mentors to those who request someone.
Well the other day I received an e-mail from a very sweet woman named Diane who wrote to tell me about her experience at the Christian bible study she attended earlier that evening.
Former Mormon Bishop Considers a Retrial of His Excommunication

Today i had the pleasure of receiving an e-mail from Lee Baker, a former Mormon bishop who now works for the Lord!
immediately after reading his note I asked if I could post it on our sites and he said; “YES!” So here’s his e-mail – I have to say that I admire his ingenuity! Come alongside us at LAM and pray for him and his wife Kathy won’t you? Who knows – maybe the Church will take him up on his offer! 🙂 Also pray for his radio ministry in Liberia as he reaches out to the Mormons there to help show them the real truth about Mormonism!
As an FYI, I’m putting a warning on this article. The expressions used in Lee’s letter is going to be offensive to some readers so I ask that you look at it in context. Nothing in his letter denotes racism on his end, rather it is strongly pointing out the racist theology of the Church.
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
1 Cor. 1:18
PS: If you haven’t read his book I highly recommend doing so! It’s called “Mormonism – A Life Under False Pretenses”.

TERRI HATCH-Testimony
I was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta in the tail end of 1979. I was a pretty sickly child and spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital. At age 2, I was having problems breathing and was wheezy and sweated all the time. My mom took me to doctor after doctor and finally one of them took an x-ray of my lungs. What he saw there put him in a bit of a panic,and he sent me out to Edmonton that day. Turned out that I had TB that was far enough advanced that I had holes in my trachea and a granuloma in my lungs that needed to be removed. So, I underwent surgery that left me with a scar halfway around my torso but also gave me the ability to breathe well, so that was a pretty good tradeoff.

Pursued by the One True God: My Journey Out of Mormonism
by Carla Mickelson
I was born and raised in the Mormon Church and was a faithful member for over 39 years. In May 2012 I left the Mormon Church for Christianity. For me, leaving Mormonism was spurred by something a dying pastor said to me at work one night. I was his nurse and I thought I was doing him a favor by letting him hold my hand and talk about Bible stories, but the pastor really blessed me by opening my eyes to Christ’s grace.
He told me that when Jesus was dying on the cross, He had taken upon Himself the sins of the world. He explained that all sin was judged once and does not need to be judged again if we accept Christ’s sacrifice for us. All other men will be judged by their works, but those who accept Jesus do not need to stand at the judgment seat because their sins were already paid for. This really affected me because it clarified for me how our sins were “nailed to the cross.”

Exit story of Tanya W.
I wasn’t born into the Mormon Church; I was actually born and dedicated into a loving Christian church and family. When I was 5 and my brother was 8 my Mother left my Dad for another man who was Mormon. Because it wasn’t common practice in the 70’s for Dad’s to fight for custody we lived with our Mother. I was baptized into the church when I was 8 and so was my Brother. We thought that we were happier because of the church. On the outside we were a very strong Mormon family.
