January 30 – Christianity is Proof Joseph Smith Lied.  Leviticus 14:11 “And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation”.

Luke 5:12-14 “And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. 14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.”

January 18 — Genesis 49:10 “The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.”

John 11:47-52 “Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. 48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. 49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, 50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. 51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; 52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.”

January 12 — Ancient of Days. There are some names and phrases in the Bible that catches our immediate attention and Ancient of Days qualifies. The words bring a sense of reverence, giving us pause to stop and wonder. The passage in Daniel paints a picture like none other; the flaming throne is judgment, and the white hair and title ‘Ancient’ denotes God who has existed before time began (Is 43:10). It puts it all in perspective for us eh? It puts us in a position of knowing who’s in charge! Sadly, it’s anything but in Mormonism. They’ve gone out of their way to malign the Lord and twist scripture in ways unheard of before. (more…)

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

The article we’re posting today was written by Melissa Grimes in 2016. What she said then still holds true for many members of the Church today,

When she sent it to me for the site I remember crying with joy that Jesus set her free and at the same time grieved for those who can’t pull themselves away from the lies.

This has to be one of the best articles I’ve ever read about what it’s like being LDS.

The other day I came across an article on PBS.org written by a man who shares his experience in converting from Catholicism to Mormonism. In summary, he says that he didn’t choose Mormonism at first, but eventually it chose him. He states that deciding to leave the religion he knew for the Mormon Church was result of his parent’s conversion, a decision he said he accepted without any complaints. Later, however, he realized that he couldn’t continue to rely on someone else’s faith and spiritual experiences, these were things he had to discover for himself.

In his closing remarks, he states “I am a Mormon”, a statement I can recall saying many times when I was asked about my faith, or religion. As a Mormon, my identity was in the Church. My mind, my heart, my soul, my whole being belonged to the Church. Anytime I was faced with a new idea, or situation I always thought, “what would the Church have me do”.

October 15 — Racist LDS Canon Still Contradicts Itself. Isaiah 66:18-19 “For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. 19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.”

1 Corinthians 15:6 “After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 ¶ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

October 14 — Families are Forever Plan Contradicts God’s Word. Isaiah 65:17-25 “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. 20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. 21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. 22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. 24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.” (more…)
