Mormon TerminologyGeneral Conference, ‘I Am a Child of God,’ Saturday Morning, April 2, 2016; “… A correct understanding of our heavenly heritage is essential to exaltation. It is foundational to comprehending the glorious plan of salvation and to nurturing faith in the firstborn of the Father, Jesus the Christ, and in His merciful Atonement. Further, it provides continual motivation for us to make and keep our indispensable eternal covenants. …” –Donald L. Hallstrom

The garment is worn at all times, but the robes are worn only in the temple. Having made covenants of righteousness, the members wear the garment under their regular clothing for the rest of their lives, day and night, partially to remind them of the sacred covenants they have made with God.

Jesus Needed Baptism for His Salvation

The Promised Messiah, pgs 482, 485; “…since the Messiah came to earth to work out his own salvation, as well as to make salvation available to all men—…even he cannot return from mortality to his state of eternal glory without entering in at the gate, the gate of baptism. “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5.) Conversion of the American Indian Peoples

D&C 3:3, 16-20, (1828); This passage in the Doctrine and Covenants is Joseph Smith’s prophecy that the Lamanites (Indian people) will all be saved.  This prophecy was given in July 1828.  In D&C 3:3 it says; “Remember, remember that it is not the work of God that is frustrated, but the work of men”. Here’s proof that this prophecy and work is of Joseph Smith and company and not God.  If God’s work cannot be frustrated then the Mormon god would’ve saved these people by now. It’s been 183 years since that prophecy and the Lamanites haven’t been saved, and the majority of those who do convert leave Mormonism within a year after conversion.  See www.cumorah.com for statistical facts on retention rates in South and Central America.
