‘Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let thy glory be above all the earth.’ Psalm 57:5

The psalm above is also a beloved song for Christians worldwide. It evokes believers to stand while singing, and reflect with awe the wonders of God Almighty, and the Power He alone holds.

Today’s LDS reference is a reminder of how the Mormon god is fixated on one thing, and that’s sex.

There’s absolutely no excuse for what Mr. Pratt said in his book, ‘The Seer’, and must be regarded as the highest form of debauchery. While everyone is familiar with Pratt’s explanation that the body of Jesus required both a mother and father, we thought it imperative to look at the rest of what he said. (more…)

We’ve been republishing some older articles based on requests of readers who share the updated versions with family and friends, We pray it’s helpful to those who use them, but mostly that it brings glory to God, and puts focus on Him. Here we go!

UPDATE!! When we posted this on our Facebook page (7.13.19) it created a lot of traffic. One Mormon was quite adamant the FHE teaching was a lie from ‘anti-Mormons’. He also stated this wasn’t official Mormon doctrine, but was only a teaching of Mormonism.

This is why it’s important to always pray for those who are still believing these lies. My heart grieves for this man, and his family as well.

Interestingly enough, someone else posted they had taught this very lesson to the 11-12 yr old kids just four years ago (2015).

Today’s dilemma reminded me of God’s providence.  As I research and gather historical information about the teachings of the Church I’m reminded every day how I used to think and behave.

To say that I’m beyond grateful He rescued me from treacherous teachings like this one today would be one of many understatements of the year.

Luke 1:34-35 “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”

The excerpt below comes from the quarterly magazine, Dialogue, A Journal of Mormon Thought. Their articles reflect a side of Mormonism faithful members of the Church typically don’t read because it’s not ‘faith promoting’, and/or they simply don’t know about them.

I’m using the essay of David John Buerger for two reasons.

1.It’s a good example of how the Church retro-engineers their published articles.

2.It shows how the Church refuses to publish all sermons of their leaders, and holds onto them in their ‘archives collection’. Today’s example is case in point. (more…)

Isaiah 9:6; “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Harold B. LeeThe verse we’re listing here today is an intro for an article you’ll see tomorrow! We’ve been exploring what the Mormon Church believes about Jesus Christ. Who is He, where He came from, and how Mormonism has degraded Him throughout their history.

In a book published in the early ’90’s, ‘How Wide the Divide’, an evangelical and a Mormon have a round-table discussion on basic Mormon beliefs.

God was the Father of Jesus’ mortal tabernacle, and Mary, a mortal woman, was His mother. He is therefore the only person born who rightfully deserved the title “the Only Begotten Son of God.” (Come unto Christ, pp. 2-3.)” – Ezra Taft Benson
