Luke 21:8 “And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.”

Liahona, ‘The Book of Mormon Brings Abundance,’ July 2018 “It is not just that the Book of Mormon teaches us truth, though it indeed does that. It is not just that the Book of Mormon bears testimony of Christ, though it indeed does that, too. But there is something more. There is a power in the book which will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study of the book. You will find greater power to resist temptation. You will find the power to avoid deception. You will find the power to stay on the strait and narrow path. The scriptures are called “the words of life” (D&C 84:85), and nowhere is that more true than it is of the Book of Mormon. … Do eternal consequences rest upon our response to this book? Chances are that most everyone has known somebody living in open rebellion towards God, their parents, or society at large. It might be someone whom you dearly love, or your coworker, or maybe it’s the person looking at you in the mirror each morning.

Today we’re catching a bird’s eye view of more than one hundred experts who’ve known a thing, or two about Mormonism. Their insight provides valuable proof of what many members of the Church need to come to terms with in his/her own life. Rebelling against the One True God of the Bible.

We’ve seen hundreds of quotes by Mormon leaders who claim they know God, but in reality they’re following a man who schemed his way into society with a vocabulary lifted from the KJV Bible.

Matthew 16:18; “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

germany-950-adOn your way to work today, how many Christian churches did you drive past?

When you went to church last week, did you remember to thank Him for each miracle you just witnessed?

Each time any of us sees another Christian, do we think of Jesus first, then give thanks for the miracle He performed? A church building alone stands as a testament to what He’s done, not to mention the people filling its pews!

Dear sweet Jesus told us in Matthew 16:18 the ‘gates of hell would not prevail’ against His church, yet it’s easy for us to take His words for granted (myself included). Not only do we live in a country that affords us the freedom to worship Him, we also have the freedom to either accept, or reject, what our Bibles tell us.
