May 25 — A Feigned Obedience. Jeremiah 14:14 “Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.” (more…)

‘What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?’ Luke 15:4

Today we’re taking a brief look at three of the talks given at General Conference in April 2020.

We pray that Christians will stop and pray for those who listened to the lies at this conference, and when given the opportunity, share the truth!

The main theme at the conference was Joe Smith, of this there is no doubt. Although events from the pandemic loomed overhead, the Church’s focus never strayed from their true agenda.

Paying homage to Smith has always been, and will continue to be the same, until they confess their sin of worshiping false gods, and practicing in the myriad of idolatrous behaviors in the temples.

They’ve rejected the fact that our true Shepherd has always looked over His flock, and faithfully so. Grasping at other isms, and what-ifs has sadly taken over every thought in their quest for the impossible godhood they seek. (more…)

“The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?” Jeremiah 5:31

Today we’re looking at an article from the latest LDS Ensign. Once again the Church felt that members needed a reminder of why they should keep their leaders employed.

For the sake of brevity, we’re looking at just two quotes from the article. To read their article in full see Ensign, ‘200 Years of Light 1820-2020 What Church Leaders are Saying about Why We Need the Church,’ March 2020.

“To Have Living Prophets and Apostles

Why are we so willing to follow the voice of our prophet? For those diligently seeking eternal life, the prophet’s voice brings spiritual safety in very turbulent times. …

Anchoring our souls to the Lord Jesus Christ requires listening to those He sends. Following the prophet in a world of commotion is like being wrapped in a soothing, warm blanket on a freezing cold day. — Neil L. Andersen

To Teach and Preserve Doctrine

In the Church today, just as anciently, establishing the doctrine of Christ or correcting doctrinal deviations is a matter of divine revelation to those the Lord endows with apostolic authority. — D. Todd Christofferson…” (more…)

Today we’re looking at a talk LDS apostle, Neil Andersen, gave to the General Conference in 2014. Not only is this talk blasphemous, it makes it all the worse by specifically addressing this to Mormon kids. There’s simply no doubt they’ve venerated Joe Smith.

Liahona, ‘Joseph Smith,’ November 2014 “Jesus Christ chose a holy man, a righteous man, to lead the Restoration of the fulness of His gospel. He chose Joseph Smith. (more…)

April 11 — Serving the Lord. 1 Chronicles 28:9; “And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.” (more…)

witnessing-tip-of-the-day-11517February 4 – Signs of deceit. Ensign, ‘THE BOOK OF MORMON: THE GREAT PURVEYOR OF THE SAVIOR’S PEACE,’ January 2008; “Each year, often at Easter and Christmastime, news magazines across the world ask the questions: Who was Jesus Christ? Did He live? Are the writings in the Bible authentic? … Yet we know that the Bible is correct. Mormon declared, “This [the Book of Mormon] is written for the intent that ye may believe that [the Bible]” (Mormon 7:9).” – Neil L. Andersen

neil-l-andersenGeneral Conference, ‘Faith Is Not by Chance, but by Choice,’ October 2015

LDS apostle, Neil Andersen gave a speech at the General Conference last week hammering home the importance of how their faith in ‘things not seen’ must override any negative thoughts, or facts, plaguing their minds.

Faith can be a hard thing to come by for some folks, and for others not so much. The one thing faith shouldn’t be is blind.
