October 3 – Which God are You Beholding? Isaiah 40:1-5, 9 ”Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. 2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’s hand double for all her sins. 3 ¶ The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: 5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. 9 ¶ O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!”

Was There a Complete Apostasy?

The LDS Church teaches there was a complete apostasy of Christianity and the church all but disappeared from the face of the earth. We’re wondering if that means all of the apostles apostatized as well…
How could there be a complete apostasy if the Mormon Church claims there were apostles that never died and are still here roaming the earth?
We’ve written about this before and we’re still waiting for someone from the Church to respond… six years after our initial query with the following set of questions, we’re still patiently waiting… (more…)
Gospel Restoration vs. Mormon Insurrection

Restoration of the Gospel “The gospel of Jesus Christ was lost from the earth through the apostasy that took place following the earthly ministry of Christ’s Apostles. That apostasy made necessary the Restoration of the gospel. Through visions, the ministering of angels, and revelations to men on the earth, God restored the gospel. The Restoration started with the Prophet Joseph Smith (JS—H 1; D&C 128:20–21) and has continued to the present through the work of the Lord’s living prophets.” – LDS.org (more…)

Postmortem Rewrites of Joseph Smith’s Witchcraft Revelations Update
Posted in Witchcraft, tagged false prophet Joseph Smith, rewriting Mormon canon, witchcraft in Mormonism on 05/03/2021| 2 Comments »
Leaving Mormonism brings many new discoveries, some more shocking than others.
This particular subject matter was one of the most surprising for me based on its brazen audacity to openly lie to the Mormon people.
Little did I know as a Mormon, the Church has spent an extraordinary amount of time retro-engineering their beloved founder’s prophetic wisdom.
Not only have they done this with their signature canon, the BoM, but they went so far as to touch up the Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price, Joe Smith’s History, and even the History of the Church as well.
We know they’ve rewritten the canon simply because they’ve told us so in their release of the ‘Joseph Smith Papers’, which contains sidebar notes telling us of the revisions.
Today we’re checking out their ‘handiwork’ by comparing the Book of Commandments written in 1833, with the Doctrine and Covenants which they’ve dated as 1828. (As an FYI, their spelling errors have been left intact.)

Moroni Taught Joseph Smith 10 Lies, pt. 2

‘For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.’ Matthew 24:24.
Today is part 2 of our look at an article in the latest church magazine, Liahona, ‘What Did Moroni Teach Joseph Smith?’, January 2021.
Yesterday we looked at five lies, some of which included witchcraft, necromancy, and Joseph’s ill-gotten fame.
Today we’ll see how neither Moroni, nor Joseph, opted for defending the Lord. Moroni did nothing more than feed a teenager’s inflated ego. Based on the Church’s track record, one must wonder if this even happened at all.
If you’re LDS, we want to reiterate we don’t say these things to demean or bash you. Our hearts are broken for the way this church has lied, and led members away from Jesus, not to Him.
We pray you’ll look at the evidence and compare all of it objectively – your very soul depends on it!
