The Mormon believes that he/she existed in spirit form before the earth was created and is co-eternal with God Himself. They also believe they came into existence through a sexual union between their Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother.

Answers to Gospel Questions 2:95 lists a question from a member of the Church and the answer that is given by Joseph Fielding Smith, the tenth president of the LDS Church, son of the sixth president of the LDS Church, Joseph F. Smith. In this particular “Q & A” I found his answer so unbelievable that I had to share it with you.
““I have a friend who is interested enough in the doctrines of the Church to ask many questions. From someone she obtained the information that we believe that the Garden of Eden was in the state of Missouri, and she asked me about it. I had always understood this to be what we believe and I told her so. She wanted to know how we explain what is in the Bible, where it tells about the river in the garden which divided into four more, the Pison, Gison, Hiddekel, and Euphrates. We know where the Euphrates is today, and the Bible map shows that the land of Havilah is located in Ethiopia. Could you please explain our views?””

We talk about Christianity, but it is a perfect pack of nonsense. Men talk about civilization; but I do not want to say much about that, for I have seen enough of it. March 20 – Ex. 12:9 says; “Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it”.

God was rather clear when He told the Israelites not to eat raw meat, but in the Book of Mormon this isn’t a problem with their god. Ask them why this would be so.

1 Nephi 17:2; “And so great were the blessings of the Lord upon us, that while we did live upon raw meat in the wilderness, our women did give plenty of suck for their children, and were strong, yea, even like unto the men; and they began to bear their journeyings without murmurings”.

Use this verse as a geography lesson for the Mormon. There has never been a river that empties into the Red Sea. It is surrounded by wilderness (desert) only.

February 23 – Galatians 1:8 says; “But if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed”.

Seems evident from this verse that there are no other gospels or testimonies from anyone no matter what they say! The front of the Book of Mormon now says that it is “Another Testament of Jesus Christ”. Ask your Mormon friend what his thoughts are about this predicament.

Joseph Smith said; “Take away the Book of Mormon and the revelations, and where is our religion? We have none”. Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg. 71. In other words, there is nothing inside of this religion that has anything to do with Jesus Christ.

In the mid ‘90’s the Mormon Church changed the title to the front of the Book of Mormon. They changed it to say; “Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ”.
Now the book of Galatians says that if anyone or an angel tells us of another gospel, we are to reject it. And the verse in Hebrews says we have a better testament; that being Jesus Christ.
The Greek word for testament is: diatheôkeô. It means covenant or contract. Why then does the Church need a new covenant and of course this new covenant is nothing less than polygamy, another baptism, baptism for the dead, etc. D&C 132:1-66 tells them they will become gods if they abide this new law and covenant; for the sake of brevity we’re only including three of the verses.

Doctrine and Covenants 132:4, 37 & 62; 4-“For behold, I reveal unto you a new and an everlasting covenant; and if ye abide not that covenant, then are ye damned; for no one can reject this covenant and be permitted to enter into my glory: 37- Abraham received concubines, and they bore him children; and it was accounted unto him for righteousness.
62 -And if he have ten virgins given unto him by this law, he cannot commit adultery, for they belong to him, and they are given unto him; therefore is he justified.”
Anyone or anything that disagrees with the LDS Church is considered anti-Mormon. Yet, the Church considers themselves to be a Christian church.
