May 7 – “Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.” Gen. 6:8-9.

November 22 – Romans 8:3-4; “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
Ezra Benson’s False Interpretation of Testing Prophets

Deuteronomy 13:1-5; “If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. 5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.”
General Conference, ‘Joseph Smith: Prophet to Our Generation,’ October 1981; “Joseph Smith
obtained this ancient record from a heavenly messenger, just as John prophesied. … Also, in harmony with the testimony of John, the book contains “the everlasting gospel.” It is now preached by our missionaries to the world. …A revealing characteristic of a true prophet is that he declares a message from God. …
The ultimate test of a true prophet is that when he speaks in the name of the Lord his words come to pass. That standard was explained by the Lord to Moses in these words:
“When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously.” (Deut. 18:22.)
Many prophecies of Joseph Smith are recorded to which this test might be applied…
Joseph Smith was a prophet of the living God, one of the greatest prophets that has ever lived on the earth. He was the instrument in God’s hand in ushering in the present gospel dispensation, the greatest of all, and the last of all in preparation for the second coming of the Master.” – Ezra Taft Benson

False Prophecies of Joseph Smith –
Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 91; “The order of the house of God has been, and ever will be, the same, even after Christ comes; and after the termination of the thousand years it will be the same; and we shall finally enter into the celestial kingdom of God, and enjoy it forever.”
Our bible verse today has been heavy on my heart as of late, and what I’ve been praying the Mormon people would adopt for themselves. The simplicity of Christ is so beautiful, yet the Church has turned what God lovingly gave us and twisted it into an unrecognizable lie from Satan.

The Book of Mormon proves itself to be a false gospel in a number of ways, so today we’re looking at a half dozen verses in the first chapter of the first book to find out why.
Putting things in perspective
Collectively speaking, there are 6.604 verses in the BoM, and by the time you get to verse nine in first Nephi you’ll have already been given a dozen or more reasons to prove the BoM isn’t from God. In vss. 1-8, the experiences of Lehi closely resemble the visions of Moses, Daniel, and Isaiah.

Today we’re taking another look at the adoration, and wholesale worship of Joseph Smith in the Mormon Church. The following teaching comes from the LDS Apostle Parley Parker Pratt, who in the eyes of the Church, was also a Mormon martyr.
Key to the Science of Theology, p. 76; “The United States of America was the favored nation raised up, with institutions adapted to the protection and free development of the necessary truths and their practical results. And that great Prophet, Apostle and martyr,
JOSEPH SMITH,
was the Elias, the restorer, the presiding messenger, holding the keys of the “dispensation of the fullness of times.”
Martin Harris’ False Prophecies

The spiritual climate of early America was dominated by the palpable urgency of men and women alike looking to hear from God through dreams they would interpret as personal revelations. As a result of the activities, it didn’t take a lot of coaxing to encourage many to try their hand at creating new churches.
This being said, Joe Smith wasn’t the only false prophet roaming upstate New
York’s landscape in the early 19th century. The eastern seaboard had already seen its fair share of ne-er-do-wells with the likes of Emanuel Swedenborg (1688–1772) from Quincy, MA, and a small sect of the Shakers who settled in the Groveland Shaker Village, in Groveland, NY c. 1826. Their communal living system just so happened to be 62 miles southwest of Palmyra, NY, the birthplace of Mormonism itself.

The Gospel Through the Ages, p. 20; “Since Jesus was foreordained to be the Savior of mankind, God the Father also honored Him by naming the plan of salvation the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It makes no particular difference by what title this system of truth had been called on other worlds, it contains the same eternal verities which, through obedience to its principles, exalt human beings in any world, giving to them eternal life.” – Milton Hunter

History of the Church 2:191; “John F. Boynton’s Blessing:—Thou hast prevailed and thou shalt prevail, and thou shalt declare the Gospel unto
many nations. Thou shalt be made mighty before God; and although thou shalt be cast out from the face of men, yet thou shalt have power to prevail. Thou shalt lead the elect triumphantly to the places of refuge; thou shalt be like the brethren who have been blessed before thee. Thou shalt stand in that day of calamity when the wicked shall be consumed, and present unto the Father, spotless, the fruits of thy labor. Thou shalt overcome all the evils that are in the world; thou shalt have wisdom to put to silence all the wisdom of the wise; and thou shalt see the face of thy Redeemer in the flesh. These blessings are pronounced and sealed upon thee. Even so. Amen.” – February 15, 1835

I came upon a tangled web of lies produced by the Church that I had no idea existed. So today we’re taking a look at events that took place at the transfiguration and comparing the Bible with what the LDS Church has to say about it.
I’m certain this won’t be the last discovery on Mormon history I find, but what it does right now is add to the long list of reasons why I am beyond grateful the good Lord plucked me out of my nightmare. Thank You Jesus!

I am not claiming to be a prophet, revelator or even a seer, as did Joseph Smith and later LDS presidents, but I have had something of a revelation of sorts. I was sorting though all the many, recent LDS claims of being true Christians and began to see a pattern of corporate denial of its own basic ‘restorationist’ theology. They have brought changes so much in opposition to their much-proclaimed only-true-church status as to completely invalidate their claims of a restored church.

Journal of Discourses 24:126 “But let me refer you to another blessing connected with Abraham, namely, that in him and his seed should all the nations of the earth be blessed. Or, in other words, that God would honor him by making of him and his seed agents through whom He would communicate truth, intelligence and salvation to the world. It is said “the glory of God is intelligence,” and He is desirous to impart this intelligence to the human family, that through it they may be exalted to the Godhead.” – John Taylor, Salt Lake City, April 8, 1883
